Luis Ackerman brings 13 years of experience to head retailer’s technology department
Greenville, S.C. – Dec. 21, 2017– The Spinx Company, a Greenville, S.C.-based operator of 81 convenience stores, recently announced that it has hired Luis Ackerman as Vice President of Technology. In this role, Ackerman will apply his extensive IT and software industry knowledge and expertise to support Spinx’s growth and enhance the customer experience through advanced technology.

With more than 13 years in the technology industry, Ackerman most recently served as the technical director for Acumen IT, where he provided technical guidance and solution consulting for more than 40 businesses. In addition, he helped lead the business unit to its most profitable year in company history. Ackerman is a graduate of ITT-Technical Institute, where he earned a degree in Computer Networking Systems.
